Poor George Kittens...

Harry Kittens went in for his 1 year check up last week and got the new broke to him that it is kitty diet time.  The vet was examining him, felt his belly and told H that "most kitties have a lot of extra skin and folds right here.... Harry just has a lot of fat."

So we are doing the twice a day feedings vs. leaving their food out.  Harry must have a lot of fat stores and is handling it well.  No whining, crying or begging.  George on the other hand is losing his mind.  He just jumped on the kitchen counter while H and I were both in there to search for food.  I took him in the bathroom and gave him some extra cat snacks to tide him over till dinner.  Poor buddy...

    Hopefully George will learn to eat him food all at once so you can give him a little more.  Poor guy

    I have two beggers that were fatties, but once my oldest was diagnosed with diabetes we went to a super strict feeding schedule with healthy food (was using meow mix, now its Purina DM and Evo wet food).  To keep them from going insane we broke it down into 4 smaller meals.  1/8 cup dry food when we wake up and before bed and 1/8 cup wet food before we leave for work and around dinnertime.  Otherwise they'd have been waking us up at all hours.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
