Pregnant after a Loss

Terrible headache...

I have had a headache for the past few days. Earlier today it wasn't too bad, it was tolerable and I didn't take anything for it. I took a nap and now I feel like crap. My head is killing me and I don't really want to eat. :( I HATE headaches! I know I can take tylenol but I just hate it. Anyone experiencing them? What else are you doing for them besides meds?

Re: Terrible headache...

  • I had a lot of headaches that were bad from around 13-15 weeks. I gave up on taking Tylenol because it just wasn't worth it. It didn't work!  I would put bags of frozen veggies on my forehead and on top of my head. I would also just lay in the dark when they were bad. I never found a trick that actually worked. Keep drinking lots of water!!! GL!

  • I hardly ever get headaches. Like ever but I?ve been noticing the last couple of weeks that I get them and they come and go throughout the day but are BAD. I know we can take tylenol too, but I just haven?t.

  • Ice to where the majority of the pain is stemming from should give you some relief atleast while the ice is on. I usually lay on an ice pack in the dark and drift off. My dr also said some headaches can be caused by unstable blood sugar. How have your eating habits beeen? Mine have been crappy because of m/s and I notice the difference when I pay more attention to my body.

  • Dark room, quiet, a little caffeine...meds when desperate.  Oh, the neurologist I saw suggested magnesium supplements.
