appt went great! we had another u/s and the baby was moving around, we saw the heartbeat pumping away. such a relief!

they referred me to the specialist to schedule my nt scan and i go back to my ob in 3 more weeks.

for some reason my mil is obsessed that we are having too many u/s, if my insurance and doc are ok with it, why does she care! but i was wondering how often you all are getting u/s, i have already had 3!

With DD I had one every 4 weeks for a while then none for a while then ended up on bedrest and had them evey 3 weeks after that. I think every doctor is different, and I know that for grandmas to be the NT is not something they had done or even did back then. I know some people only ever had one u/s and some still do only get one now. Every doctor has his own idea about how many you need

I've only had one. My next u/s isn't until I'm 20 weeks.

I am going for my first one next Tues at 6w2 days ...my progesterone was low it went from 12.5 to 10.9 so he supplemented and over 4 days it went up to 97.2 I guess he is having me come in early since I had a m/c last month

I LOVE ultrasounds! I am due July 4th and I have already had 3 as well. They are so reassuring and there is no harm to the baby, so I am thrilled I've been able to see Baby so often=) I hope to have another next month, btu if not, I will definitely have one in Feb. to tell the gender.

i mean i am sure once i am in 2nd tri i won't have nearly as many, i am glad my doc is proactive and sees me a lot, it keeps me reassured everything is ok!

I have not had any yet. My first appointment and ultrasound will be this Thursday at 11 weeks. My doctor did not need to see me until now. :-)

I will have my third ultrasound tomorrow at my NT scan, and then have a doctors appointment on Thursday.....

We too asked if it was harmful or if there are too many.... and doc said no - not harmful at all - so I am IN for the ultrasounds..... sets my worrying level down for a short while
