So I was laying on my side watching tv, and I could have swore when I had my hand on my lower right side I could feel LO breathing....is that possible?
I read a post about this last week...a girl's dr said you could feel/see LO practice breathing. I sort of questioned it until earlier when I'm pretty sure I could feel it myself. It was too rhythmic of a movement and it was definitely not hiccups.
I am gonna say no. I have constant bio-physical profiles (done via u/s) to make sure my baby is having "respirations" (rise and fall of chest) in the womb and sometimes it would take nearly 35 mins to get one single respiration out of her. I know it happens more often later in pregnancy, but not enough to see it happening constantly. And they call it respirations bc they aren't technically "breathing" in the womb, if that makes sense.
