Who has made them? Do you recommend them? I am thinking about making them for Christmas morning, but most of the people that will be eating them do not like coffee. Does the icing have a coffee flavor? I was thinking about just leaving the coffee out of the icing recipe, do you think that would work?

I've made several batches in the past couple weeks. They're ah-mazing and fairly easy to make.
The icing is fantastic and has a very, very subtle coffee flavor. I think you could get away without it since it's a very small amount, but I would encourage trying the icing as is.
