Play date activity ideas?

I'm hosting a playdate in January for about 8 moms and non-walking LOs up to 18 months.  Anyone have any ideas for a fun activity?  I thought of doing bubbles, but don't know about being outside until it gets closer (we live in FL, but it could still be rainy or too cold.)  Thanks!

    Bubbles are fun. Throwing a bunch of toys in the middle of the room is too. Do the moms expect a special activity?

    When I have another baby over, they just play with Jude's toys. If we do something special, we go somewhere, like the children's museum or zoo.

    Yeah, there is supposed to be some sort of "theme/activity", this is for an organized mom's group I recently joined - another group that we met up w/  just hangs out while the babies play, but this new group is a bit more "structured."  They do stuff like baby food exchanges, chili at the park, "ball, balls, balls" (where everyone brings a ball or 2 and all the babies play.)  The organizer said she'd help if I couldn't come up w/ anything, so we'll see...
