I am trying to decipher if the cramps and sore bb's are from all the med's and pio shot or something more. This waiting game is so not fun and if you read my post from yesterday, I broke down and poas......BFN. I was 7dp3dt when I did it (also in the afternoon) so I have literally made myself sick. It seems like AF might be coming due to the cramps which started about 3 days after ET and have continued.
Did you have any symptoms prior to your BFP?
Thanks
Re: IVF girls, did you have any "symptoms" before BFP?
I had to get up and pee in the night which is not normal at all for me!
7 days is super early!!! GL!!!!!!
When I started stims, my BBs hurt and continued to hurt through my first trimester. I had cramping on and off throughout the 2ww and my entire pregnancy. Other than that...nothing at all.
I didn't POAS until 10dp3dt because I wanted to know for sure what the answer was. I would wait another couple of days and then try again. Good luck!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

all the meds and hormones can definitely play tricks on you!
for me this time it was being excessively weepy (cried way too much at a movie) and feeling really crampy. In all my BFP cycles I also had this vague feeling of "peace" and "just knowing" I was pregnant come over me. I don't know how to explain it b/c there weren't any particular symptoms associated with that feeling. It was more like a psychic guess.
I had/have all of your symptoms and I recd BFP just over a week ago from blood test...today is first u/s. Wait for the doctor's blood test...don't test yourself!!! It will drive you crazy!
My bb's didn't hurt until approx 12dpt so I was concerned that I wasn't pregnant then they started to hurt. Cramps were a few days after transfer and they continue. I'm not sure if that's good or not but could be due to all the medication I'm still putting in my body.
GL!!!
IVF #1 - BFP (6dt)
Unassisted Pregnancy #2 - lost at 15w6d due to T21, severe heart defects, and fetal hydrops
just saw this... i'll c&p what i wrote in the post above. Good luck!!!!
i said i had symptoms... and i did. but because it was my first time on PIO, i didn't know at the time (and perhaps still don't really know since i was on PIO for 8 more weeks) what the source of my symptoms really was.
but basically i had very faint cramps starting about 5 days after the transfer. in the 3 or so days leading up to us testing and the beta, i started to have a sharper, more focused pain in my VERY lower abdomen (just above my pubic bone).
other than that, i felt normal. but the cramps were noticeable and the sharper pains went from faint to VERY intense. who knows!
Because we're fancy like that.
I was more crampy than normal but I attributed that to the progesterone. Same with the heartburn.
The one thing that I thought perhaps wasn't medicine related and that I've had each time I got pregnant was that a food I normally really like would taste different to me. Once it was Starbucks ice-cream and the other two times it was sour cream and I NEVER don't like sour cream so I started thinking something was up.
I'm hoping you get a positive test very soon.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
I'm on my second IVF cycle. The first one was in Sept 09 and bfn. Now, I'm in my dreaded 2WW, beta scheduled on Dec. 25th (postpone to 26th since lab is closed for Xmas -adding another day to my misery)
Both times I started off with symptoms of bloatedness, AF like cramps, sore bbs, lower back pains and leg cramps. Both times these symptoms started to diminish (except the sore bbs) 4dpt. I'm scare that I'm going to get a BPN again this time. I'm wondering how much of these symptoms comes from the residual medication in our bodies vs actual pregnancy symptoms. I had bloatedness, lower back pains and leg cramps during cycle as well. Could these symptoms have lessened because the ovary stimulation meds have finally left my system? I hope that's the reason. Did anyone else experience the same diminishing symptoms?
Good luck to everyone
