Any other teachers at home today with a sick LO?

We think that DS has milk allergies as he has been breaking out in hives. I had to stop by school this a.m. to put my sub plans together. During that time, I had to get everything together, hold DS, talk to multiple people, talk to a parent (Why now when I have my DS and obviously won't be at school) AND take my class in, do attendance. Luckily, the P.E. teacher took them early so that I could go.

Then, DS pooped. Go figure.

We are hoping to hear that we have the referral and can see the specialist today.

DS is happily playing.

  • By the way, I don't consider him sick-I had to be here to BF him so he could eat.

  • wow, that's a lot to do!  I always send my lesson plans in via email when I'm out.  I couldn't handle all that!
  • I am! DS had a fever yesterday and I felt like crap having to go to work since it was a Monday and I had nothing at all prepared for a sub. I decided to stay home with him today and he is perfectly fine! At least we're having a fun day playing together... little faker just wanted his mommy home. :)  jk

  • Not today but maybe tomorrow. Dh had a bad cold this past weekend. This morn dd was cranky when I dropped her of to daycare. I called to check on her and they said wasn't herself today. So we'll see how she is tonight and throughout the night. I hope your cutie pie feels better
