Trying to Get Pregnant

-CarolinaKiwi-

Hey lady, just saw your message.  Thank you for all of your support.

We're hoping FIL can come home soon.  I was there yesterday and Dr said he might go home today, but MIL says they haven't be in at all yet, so maybe tomorrow.  Right now they are just watching to see his kidney function numbers improve.

I hope you are doing well.  I'm sorry to see that you are on a new cycle.  I hope we can both have good news soon.

Thinking of you, praying for you.

((big hugs))

  • Hey you!  I sure hope he gets to go home today or tomorrow.  Yeah, sometimes those doctor's can be slow (b/c of their schedules) to get back in to check everything out to determine if the patient can be discharged.

I've missed a lot of your posts, and the silly bump function to look at previous posts does not work.......did they determine what happened?

  • They are guessing it's ATN - acute tubular necrosis.  Which in his case basically means he was super dehydrated and that caused his neo-bladder (from cancer surgery) to not function properly.  But also said they are no longer trying to figure out the problem, just trying to improve his test numbers.

He'll need extra followup at his Dr for a while.  But hopefully that's the issue and he'll be aware of it next time.  Biggest problem is that he doesn't tell anyone he's feeling sick until it's too late.

Hope you are doing well and your Christmas preparations are coming along.  This weather is getting old!

  • I sure hope next cycle is better for you!  At least you don't have to wait a couple months for the cycle to be over. :-)

I am just hoping we have good timing this cycle.  The last cycle was so-so b/c we lost steam.  My body geared up to O a couple times before I did, so I think I wore DH out too early. hehe!

I'm probably not going to O until mid-January, so at least I can hopefully concentrate on Christmas and family time rather than obsess about O-ing.  However, prior to BCP, I did have sporadic times of shorter, more "normal" cycles after a long cycle.....so I could possibly O before the end of the year (but I doubt it).

Oh - I'm glad they pretty much figured it out.  I hope he recooperates quickly!

I agree about the weather.  Although when its dreary like this, it makes me feel like its more like winter, which makes me feel more in the Christmas mood.  But I am ready for some sunshine!

  • Thank you!  I hope both of our cycles cooperate this time.

I know what you mean about losing steam.  That happened to us last cycle.  By the time we reached CD46 we were sick of each other.  Even if I had Od I don't think we would have been in the mood.

    Best of luck this cycle!
