Can you overfeed a breastfed baby? Due to recent nipple trauma I am feeding from one side and pumping the other, and I'm pretty much feeding her everything that I pump because she is CRANKY ALL THE TIME so I just assume she's hungry. But now I am paranoid that I am overfeeding her. How do I know? Is it a bad thing if I am?

Gah why does something so natural have to be so hard!?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if they overeat, they will spit up the excess.

according to the LC at my hospital, breastfed babies do not over eat. if your baby still seems hungry after nursing give him/her more.
