So a good friend of mine is due two days before I am. This is her second child, and the twins are my first.
We were talking yesterday about things and I said I feel the babies frequently. It's graduated from fluttering to feeling like someone is touching me from the inside.
She says it's not the the babies, it's just gas bc it's too early to feel that much activity. But I thought that with twins, it's normal to feel things a little earlier.
Anyone have any info for me?
Re: Friend does't believe me
i definitely don't think it's too early to feel your babies! granted, i didnt' feel mine until much later, but that doesn't mean anything. maybe she's like me, and just won't feel hers until a little later.
that said, i don't think people with multiples necessarily feel theirs earlier. like i said, i didn't feel mine until much later - 22 weeks or so!

My blog * We made the national news!
I felt my single pregnancies by 17 weeks. With my current multiples pregnancy, I have an anterior placenta and I feel them much less than my singles even though there's two of them!
If you were like 11 weeks I might have given you the side eye but 17 weeks- totally plausible that you are feeling them.
Thanks everyone! That puts my mind at ease that I'm really feeling things vs wanting to feel things.
We have our big ultrasound this Thursday so I'm hoping that I'll feel something at the time they are doing something so I know for sure.
