I want to move my 1st appt

We have our 1st appt on Dec. 31.  Part of me thinks it's best to wait until then because based on my typical 32 cycle, I will be just over 7 weeks.  But I'm really struggling with not having an u/s to confirm before then.  We are traveling during the holidays so the only day before the 31st I could go would be the 23rd which I think I will be just over 6weeks. 

Our last pregnancy ended in a m/c.  When we went to the Dr for the first appt, I thought I was just over 6weeks but the Dr couldn't see anything on the u/s.  I had to do a bunch of tests and come back the following week where we saw the hb but then I miscarries a few days later.  I don't want to have to go through that again.

I know it's probably best just to wait because if we go in there early again and the Dr tells us she doesn't see anything, we will be crushed all over again.  DH is all for waiting, I just need to get fully on board.

    I would wait if I were you. 
    Just enjoy the Holiday & know that you get to see your baby soon :O)

    Oh honey I know how you feel!  My first appt is the 21st.  And I am terrified that I will get bad news just like last time right before Christmas....  I pray that I am wrong and we will get wonderful news that will allow us to celebrate this Christmas knowing we have a LO on the way!
