I finally got a chance to watch teen mom today.
Was anyone else kind of dissapointed that the two kids who opted for adoption and seemed so mature on 16 and pregnant...were still having unprotected sex?
I have to admit they were my favorites and I still really like them but after what they went through I was pretty surprised they weren't being more careful.
What did you guys think?

Lying to the doctor to get the mirena....ay yi yi.
not at all! and the really bad part was she lied to her dr about it to get mirena birth control!
I still think they are a bazzillion times more mature than there parents (although her mom seems to be better now) but that just threw me for a loop!

dear sweet lord and baby jesus yes! The other girls all seem to be doing good and acting more mature...but farrah...is still a teenager and her screaching "OMG" voice yelling over her mothers constant gum chewing "listen to me farrah!" gets on my last nerve! lol

OMG I change the channel when she's on. She's so annoying, and her mom is crazy. I can't stand either of them.

OP: Did you pick the name Penelope Laine so you could call your little girl Penny Laine? I had that same idea, I almost did it!
LOL. originally we were going to name her Penelope Grace
But then one day my fil started singing penny laine (huge fan of the beatles that one) to her and we liked it so much we changed it.
So yes we did!
aside from her lying to get the Birth control what bothered me is the boy friend asked her what she would do if they ended up PG again and she said i dont know what we'd do, bc she didnt want to go through it agin (reffering to the adoption) .....

Yeah, that really irritated me that they are still having unprotected sex after all that they have been through. Honestly, did they not learn anything from the past?!
Oh, and Farrah gets on my nerves as well. She is so annoying and so is her mom and sister. When her and her sister were arguing in the kitchen, I wanted to jump through the TV and choke them both! She definitely needs to GROW UP! It seems like she cares more about her social life than being with her little girl.
I was disappointed by that as well, and especially that Catelynn could have been pregnant when she got the Mirena. They should have given her a test as a precaution instead of just taking her word.
Farrah is so full of herself, it's ridiculous. I laughed out loud when she was on the date and the guy said, "You're gorgeous" and she responded with, "I know."
