What are you getting your nanny for christmas?

Our nanny comes over twice a week now, but will be with us 3 days a week once we have 2 kids. My friend is giving hers a week's salary bonus, but I think that's a bit much.  Any ideas? She's in her 50's with college girls.

    I took our nanny shopping and let her pick what she wanted and it was a nice warm jacket for when she takes DD to the park.

    A week's salary is normal around here. That is what I received last year.

    We are doing a weeks salary as well.  It really is a nice touch and what my girl needs more than anything else.

    I am also doing 1 weeks salary, on top of paying for 2 weeks vacation since my DH is home that last two weeks of the year.  So for 2 weeks of no work, she gets a check for 3 weeks pay.  I love her dearly and would be a mess if she ever left us!  Like you, my nanny is only here 2 days a week, so a "weeks" pay won't kill us.

    a week's salary.  Mine is live-in m-fri and watches my twins.  she is GOLDEN!

    She gets two weeks paid vac time, yaktrax, and jewelry. She just got her yearly raise and will be due for another with this next baby, but not yet!
