    How ya feeeeeelin

I KNOW!!!  I wanted 2 things for Christmas.  I just might get them BOTH!!!

:)  Well, I wanted the woolen willy warmer too, but you know, I could live without that.

Feelin' OK.  Gotta stop POASing like a fool.  As of today, I'm pregnant and I love my baby.  I was obsessively looking over my testing charting notebook today and briefly considered burning it.  Closing the thing and putting it on a shelf was enough for now.  I'll burn it in a few months, I suspect.  I decided this afternoon that I was just going to try really REALLY hard to relax.

In other news, I feel bloated.  I wore my skinny jeans today for one hopeful last hurrah over the next week or two and they're tight.  Ah bloating.  It's so sexy.  Of course I have to admit to not really being skinny enough for them in the first place.

Also, I am getting a cold.  Wheeeee.

  • And btw:  BY WHEEEEEE I really do mean "Yahooooo.  Bring it on.  Thank you sir may I have another."

I know you know that, but I thought I'd clarify that I wasn't being sarcastic.  My immune system's down.  I'll get a cold.  Maybe even a cold sore or ear infection.  Hopefully another BFP tomorrow.

I called the study people today and scheduled to see them on Thursday.  I'll save my last digi for Thursday morning before I go, because last month the digi came back neg (as did all blood work and other tests) the day I visited the study people.

OH!  I get to freeze my urine for the next 30 days.  Won't that be fun?

  • Freezing Pee? Omg, that's dedicatino to the study.  Note to self, don't eat the yellow ice pops in grr's freezer.

My pants are also tight I have about one pair that fit, but that's just cuz I'm a lard ass that can't stop eating crap food. hehehe.

STOP peeing on sticks. Seriously. You'll drive yourself nuts. There's nothing you can do right now but enjoy every second. That's what I try to remind myself of

  • I'm working on the joy.  I'm only POASing on Thursday to ensure I'm not wasting anyone's time at the study, that's all.

I was in full maternity by 10 weeks with my son (not due to bumpness just due to bloat, I understand).  We'll see how long I can hold out.  It's hard for me to talk like this but I'm doing it.  Dangit.  I'm doing it.  I'm enjoying this.  Every minute of it.

The study has you freeze pee for the first 2 months of TTC and then for a month after you get your +, I think.  It sure is interesting.  I don't really enjoy keeping vials of urine in the freezer, but they're in a box and triple bagged, so, you know, we all survive.  It's all in the name of science and helping women who've miscarried, so it makes me feel like I'm actually making something good of our losses this year.

In other news, my son turned to me today, out of the blue, and said "Mommy, I'm glad you have the babies back in your belly where the other babies were but they died.  I'm sorry about the other babies dieding but these babies are okay I sink. "  "Babies?"  "Yeah.  Two.  One for me and one for Lilly."

    Ooooooooookay then crazy boy.

  • awww, your DS is so adorable. That study sounds like a great thing! how did you find out about it?

I'm well and bloaty, but that's not abnormal for me at any given time Stick out tongue

We often say that DS is lucky he's so cute.  ;)

A buddy told me about the study after my 2nd miscarriage.  Or maybe before - she had a loss in May and her doctor encouraged her to do it.  I was considering it but got ku right away, then, after the m/c, I contacted the study people and asked to get on board.  They let me in on my 2nd cycle after the loss.  It's a cool thing - they're studying the effects of aspirin on gestation and reproduction - it's so often prescribed by doctors but not with any sound statistical evidence, you know?  So the EAGER study's this really big 10 year study with something like 3,000 women in it (or that's their goal) in 3 different cities.  If you get pregnant, they follow you until you are 36 weeks or so.

I'm glad you're well and bloaty.  That's not a bad thing to be.  :)  Tonight I'm apparently really emotional as well.  I started crying when my husband told me some dumb sports story or something.  Then I cried again when I realized that the tv show Dollhouse had 5 episodes left instead of just 3.  Sigh.   Good times.  Good times.  Again, bring it on.
