mypoints vent

I dunno if any of you are on mypoints, but I have been saving up my points for a long time trying to get something good.

First I was saving up my points for a Ritz Carlton gift card so H and I could do brunch sometime, and then they no longer offered it. Then I was saving up my points for a target gift card... and now they don't do those any more either. The only thing that looked even remotely good was Amazon.com and mostly because I figured they would email you the certificate code for instant gratification.

Nope. They are going to MAIL the online certificate code. WTF? I'm sad. I was *this close* to talking H into letting me have Rock Band.

    I hate when they take away what you can use points on (I don't have mypoint, but I have various credit cards w/ similar things).

    I hate even more when you redeem your points in early November, and they refuse to mail to your secure PO Box, so your gift cards get stolen from your stupid mailbox while you're out of town for Thanksgiving, and you have to file a replacement claim 2 weeks before Christmas and hope the gift cards you planned to give as gifts arrive in time.  Yeah, true story.  People suck.
