If I were to order MIL a photo calendar...

Would it be bad if I didn't put SIL/BIL's kids on it and just my girls?

 I had SIL email me some pics but it says low resolution on all her pics(I am pretty sure she took them off fb even though I told her they wouldn't work) so I don't want the calendar to turn out crappy. And her computer crashed so she had to do it from her parents house but I want to get it ordered tonight so I am sure its here by xmas.

    I would probably tell your SIL about it first and explain the reason. I don't think it's wrong for you to do it with just your girls, but doing it without telling her would probably cause hurt feelings.

    Yeah, for some reason I do think the calendar for grandparents is wrong w/out all grandkids.  I keep wanting to do calendars for the grandparents on both sides, but then that means I would have to coordinate with unorganized people and that just makes me crazy!
    What about a flip book or one of those hardback books that they do?  THey are so cute!  We are doing a flip book. 

    Grandparents usually try to treat grandkids equal and a calendar they will have out all year w/ only some of their grandkids may seem wrong to them. Maybe I'm the only on that feels this way though.

    What about just using the pics YOU have of them, that way the resolution will be good enough...  Im sure youve taken your own pics of them, with them when your all together?!

    Actually there was BIG fight in my family years ago over an issue similar to this- I wouldn't do it. Calendars for the grandparents should probably include all the grandkids.

    yea, actually I don't. I am a bad aunt I know. lol. We only see them about 6 times a year really and I never have my camera.

     Anyway I checked the snapfish website and I actually have until the 18th to order for it to be here for xmas with the standard shipping...so I texted her to see if she could get them to me by tomorrow  evening so I could order it by tomorrow evening. One more day won't put it off to much. :) She is going to try, so I guess if she don't then I will just do them of my girls and if she can, awesome. :)

    If you only see them 6 times a year, does that mean the g-parents see them rarely also? (I remember you said you live min's from them)  maybe if theyre not around much it wouldnt be THAT bad.... Theres 9 g-kids in our fam.. Its a gift from YOU to THEM..Your not obligated to include their kids in your gift, although it would be nice, its not nec..Include a lot WITH the grandparents also (so its more like a gift from your kids to them) and I think its fine.  My SIL is also lazy dazy with the photos so I COMPLETELY understand...also the calendar I made them for xmas has all the kids but her pics were real low res too because i had to take them off her FB page...Thats HER fault...I asked for weeks.  If she says anything, thats what I would say.

    Inlaws probably see them about 1-2x a month on average. They really only live about 75-85 miles away, but when they come into town we just dont see them (we aren't all that close with his bro and sil).  I ended up texting her and am going to wait until tomorrow night to order but then if she can't get them to me I will just do my girls. At least I tried right, :) (I know I didn't give her a huge notice but I just decided to do this at last minute since  it was bogo from snapfish and I was already doing one for DH).

    My sil made my mom a 2009 calendar with just her son's pics. Oh well. I included her son's pics in my moms photo keychain...but whatever.
