My dr's office is gonna hate me!

I never heard back last week about doing 2nd betas...   I know my first numbers were good but I am so nervous that something is going to go wrong..  Having another good beta and prog would make me feel better!  I am going to call the office (actually I have been but its been busy) to see if they will do another one this week! 

They are going to hate me! 

ETA: I just talked to the nurse and she said they wont do another one until my regular appointment..  Sad

    Can you cheat on them and just go into a normal lab somewhere to get some? If you really want them that bad...

    Grr...  It sucks they won't do another one.

    I wouldn't worry about calling whenever you feel like it.  That is their job, after all.  Be the squeaky wheel!!

    I know my OB's office hates me already. I knew they wouldn't do them so I had my regular GP order the betas. It gave a real peace of mind for a while (i am starting to worry obsessively again with this spotting) so I might call again. Embarrassed

    What?!  I'm sorry that wouldn't fly with me.  Everyone knows that one beta tells you nothing.  I'd call back again and say you want to speak to the doctor.

    This!  Who cares if the receptionist/nurse hates you... you gotta be your own advocate!  They have to understand that you are coming from a different place with this pregnancy.

    I don't understand why they won't indulge with a blood test, especially given your history. Not cool.

    They said my first betas were good enough they didnt need to do them til my appt next Monday..  :(  It just bummed me out.  But good numbers dont mean anything because my numbers were great last time (except my prog)..

    I haz a sad..

    Nope my GP is a B*tch and I fired her.  I havent found a new GP yet..  :(
