I am kind of irrationally bummed..

My school was donated 20 laptops for the teachers and the Principal just wrote about them and how they came to be donated in our update....

Long story short there is a section at the end thanking the teacher who started the conversation that led to the donation and (rightfully so) a thank you to the donators.

But, there is no mention of the fact that I have spent the last 3 weeks setting these computers up and have taken almost 30 hours of extra work to get them ready. I am a bit bummed to go unmentioned. I feel like the parents should know that I have worked that hard, especially since this is a small school and the more they percieve I work the more valuable I am.

So, I just had to get that out there. Thanks for reading.

. Unfortunately, I've found in general there's often expectation rather than appreciation for those that are 'good with computers' to help those that aren't. I don't know why, but I've seen it a lot.

so sorry, people take people with computer skills for granted, until they need them. Maybe it was a genuine honest oversight.
