Aack! She changed her mind! WWYD?

So my 3 year old has been wanting a pink bike for weeks now. She just started telling everyone Santa was going to bring her a pink bike. Every time anyone asked it was, "I'm getting a pink bike." So, we went out and got her a pink bike. It's in the garage with training wheels. Her godparents are buying her the helmet and pads. And starting yesterday she started telling me and my mom, "I want Cinderella and Cinderella's castle." We went shopping yesterday and I think she saw a Cinderella doll with a horse. Don't know where she got the castle bit. So. WWYD? Take back the bike?

Yeah, I know. Spoiled.

  • Keep the bike.  She could change her mind 25 times before Christmas.  Maybe someone else could buy the Cinderella doll?

  • Personally, I'd keep the bike. Did any child ever wake up on Christmas morning disappionted about a pink bike?

Or maybe you could find something small that's Cinderella - surely there's a Tshirt, undies, etc., that's got Cinderella and her castle on it!

  • That's pretty much what I was leaning towards. But it's kind of shocking to have her be SO excited about something and then hear her say, "No. I don't want one. Santa can't fit it in his bag."

Nope- I want one, too :) I bet she'll be excited all over again! I would stick with the bike.
  • Keep the bike. Santa can't keep up with last minute order changes!
  • You could get the carriage and princess doll for less than $30.  I'd go with that and keep the bike.
  • I am a baaaad Mom...she asked for a few things...I got them. She went to Santa and asked for NOTHING I got her. Sooo she is getting the old stuff and some new stuff.

This happened to me too and now I have to get the stuff she asked Santa for!

I'd keep the bike and add something with Cinderella. I spoil my child too!

  • I'd just tell her that she already told Santa she wanted a pink bike and that he can too fit it in his bag! And then I'd probably buy her something cinderella too.
