If your DC naps at around 12, do you do lunch before or after?

We've been doing lunch at around 11am before Sasha's nap, but I'm wondering if I should try after the nap (she sleeps only till 1pm, 130pm on a good day) and just do a snack before. It probably won't make that much of a difference, but I just find myself sitting down with her and I certainly should not be eating that much Wink

So I thought I'd see what people do in general. TIA.

DS naps around 12:30 and we eat lunch at 11:30. But he also takes a 3 hr nap so doing it after is not an option for us.

DS usually wakes up from his nap (if he takes one) around 12:30 so we do after. But I think if you give your LO a snack before the nap she could probably make it until after her nap for lunch.

We do lunch after her nap at 2 and dinner around 6. And then she nibbles all day in between.

ETA: She snacks before and goes down around 12.

DS usually goes down between 12 and 12:30, and we do lunch before his nap.

Daycare does lunch at 11:30 and then nap afterwards to we keep to that schedule at home.

I do try to do a lunch at 11 but if she's just not that into it I'll do a snack before and after nap to equal a lunch.

He eats at 12 and I put him down at 1 and he slees until 4 (he's down to one nap) so I have to feed him before.

We do lunch before since DS typically takes a 2 1/2 - 3 hour nap. But, he also wakes up at about 5:30, so he's more than ready for lunch by 11am.

Lunch before. Nap is at 12:30ish, and sometimes she takes forever to fall asleep, so she could be in her crib until 4. She usually sleeps 2-3 hrs.

I give her as much as she'll eat at 11:30 and if she doesn't eat much I'll give her milk before the nap and a heavier snack when she wakes up. This has worked well for us.

BTW, Sasha is our girl name! LOVE it!

This is going to sound weird, but my DD naps from 1-3 like clock work. She will only eat afterwards. If I try and give her lunch before she just plays and makes a mess. She does eat a snack before nap. When she wakes us she eats like a champ, but I guess I would too.

We do lunch before nap. He eats between 11:30-12 and nap right after usually at 12:30ish.

Lisichka--are you Russian? My husband is Ukranian and Sasha was his father's name but it is never used for a girl in his culture--so we wonder if his family will find the name choice very strange for a girl. Just curious about your experience with it!

Yup, I am! That's so strange that they've never used it as a girl name before. We have her name as Alexandra on the birth cert. and use Sasha on every day basis. As far as I know that is a super popular girl name, I don't think his family would find it weird at all. Besides you guys would be honoring his dad - I think they''ll appreciate it.

DS generally goes down around 11:30am unless we are out. He has a snack around 10:30am and eats lunch after his nap (around 2-3pm).

We actually don't really do lunch. She doesn't usually get breakfast until 10 or 10:30, so she has a really big healthy breakfast and then a snack after she gets up.?

we do lunch before. If we waited it would be so late for lunch since he sleeps for 2.5 hours.
