My DH apparently DVR'd it, and so we watched it last night. Gotta say, it's entertaining. DH had heard about it on NPR's Marketplace, of all places.

    I work in NJ, and all of my Italian CWs were talking about either watching it or DVR'ing it.

    They kept laughing about the fact that all the people on the show are actually from Staten Island.

    DH and I have it DVRed too.  H isn't usually a fan of the shows I watch just to point and laugh, but he got sucked in too.

    I just hope they burn that hot tub when they are done filming.

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    I DVR'd it too - and it is very entertaining.

    Like Dr.L - I find it very funny that only 1 or 2 people on the show are actually from Jersey.

    On the Today Show last week, they were talking about how some Italian Americans are offended by that show. I have not seen it, but the clips I saw made it look like a train wreck!

    I don't think it's any more or less offensive than any other MTV show. The model is to make a mockery of stupid, self-absorbed young people. It's awesome.
