  I know, it is too bad!  When does this intern leave and a new one start?  The cute intern is gone after the first week of January, and then the next one starts (who is not cute).  I will miss this kid!

  Our is here for the long haul. Believe it or not, he's much better than the last one. He was a total creep and stared at me all the time with these weird eyes. He stunk like old cigarettes and bo. Nasty. I don't know where my co-worker finds these people!

  Ugh, that sucks.  Where the hell are they finding these creepy smelly interns?  This intern is not only cute, but smells pretty good.  He wears some kind of light-cedar-smelling cologne.

  A small financial advisory practice. He is in my office the whole time and is actually doing much better. It's a re-intro to society. Lucky me.

  Co-worker's mother is schitzophrenic (sp?!--- so is my BIL by the way) and so he feels obligated to help those like her. It's nice but I don't feel like this is the place to be doing that. Not my say though, unfortunately. He's a good kid aside from the whole gross, smelly ickyness.

  That is really nice and thoughtful - but yeah, I agree that a business environment may not be the best arena to help them.  Unless it does give them a chance they wouldn't have had otherwise.

  I mean, I guess it does. Clients don't really see him. He does our filing, shredding and other things. He is not good at photocopying or faxing though, lol. He has really made a lot of progress since he started, although he does come in looking like a hot mess sometimes. I feel mean talking about how gross he is but it helps me get through it because, honestly, he makes me want to gag most of the time.

  My BIL isn't like that, he's mainly just annoying-- like doesn't shut the hell up for 2 seconds-- and smells like cigarettes. At least he's not gross though. I think our intern had a much more severe case.
