Ha! Funny about that. I couldn't go to it! All the roads around Pittsburgh were closed due to ice and I was stuck in the house! Grrr....
I talked to my coordinator though and she said not to worry. I had already set a second appointment up for Wednesday so she said to just come then or when I get a +OPK, whichever comes first.
How was your weekend?
That sucks!!
Oh well, at least it's not going to screw anything up.
It was good and busy. We had a 90th b-day party with the ILs on Saturday- always interesting. The party started at noon, we got there at 12:30 (we had to stop and eat on the way b/c the food is always disgusting), and MIL hadn't even gotten the chicken in the oven yet for the 100 people that were waiting to eat! They had it in a church rec room. Needless to say I laid the smack down in the kitchen and worked my ass off. The food still sucked though because they had already prepared it all, it was just not cooked. I worked really hard to get it all out because they only had the church until 4 (it had to be cleaned up and everything) and they were walking around in slow motion like they had until the end of time. What a mess. My MIL is a disaster.
Then yesterday I went to a Christmas tea with my cousin's kids, my aunt and my mom. It was fun but the kids were too young, they didn't really get what was going on (which was really entertaining). Last night we had Hunukkah (sp?!) and decorated my mom's tree- we do this every year, my step-dad is Jewish so we always celebrate both holidays. It's so much fun.

The birthday story made me LOL
That would have driven me nuts watching them all be so pokey!! I feel like that with DH all.the.time. Everything we do we are 15-30 minutes late minimum because he putters around getting ready to leave.
Case in point - we were going over to the hospital on Friday to see my mom. As we're getting ready to leave, DH starts to pack up his laptop and projector (so we can create our own movie theater at the hospital!!) and can't find his mouse. So we spent 15 minutes searching for it and never did find it. Then we get out to the car and he says he forgot to put a patch on. So he goes to do that, comes back out and says he needs to fill his tires. 10 minutes later we finally pull out and he says we have to collect all the garbage cans of our neighbors that have blown all over the street. Then we have to stop at the convenience store because he's hungry. I was ready to kill him!
That does sound fun to be able to celebrate both holidays. We don't have nearly enough family gatherings - I would love to be able to pack more in
My weekend was pretty uneventful. Spent Friday and Saturday with my mom at the hospital and vegged out and watched movies yesterday. And now - back to reality
When is she getting out of the hospital?
I think our DH's would be bffs, mine does the exact same thing. By the time we actually leave, we are in a fight because I was screaming at him b/c he's so damn slow. He checks himself out in EVERY mirror all the way to the door. I get so mad.
Teehee - vain Mr.John!!! We were 1/2 hour late to our own tasting for our wedding because of him. It was for 6 people - us, my parents and 2 of my BMs. They were all there on time and we were 1/2 hour late!!!!!! I was PIISSED!
Mom is out of the hospital - she came home yesterday. She is feeling a zillion times better. She's back to work already!
Yay!! I am so glad she is feeling better!! That must have been so painful.
Have you heard from Riley? I hadn't seen an update since her last email on Friday.
