Hey everyone! I'm a 20-something SAHM with identical twin girls, currently 14? months old. They were born via C-section at 31 weeks 3 days and were in the NICU for 40 days. They are both doing wonderfully now, very healthy & growing like weeds!
Welcome to the board...and did you really cloth diaper twins? I've got my stash all ready and am excited to start but don't know too many people who have done it with twins.

Yes, I do cloth diaper my twins, really! We didn't start until they were 7 months old though....I had done a bunch of research on cloth when we first found out we were expecting, but then after finding out it was twins that kind of went out the window because I didn't think I'd be able to keep up with it. Looking back now, I wish we had started earlier, though I know that we wouldn't have been able to for awhile since they were preemies & the diapers just wouldn't have fit them yet! It's such a worthwhile investment though. I figured out how many times they needed to wear the diapers in order to "break even" with what we would have spent on disposables, and it was only about 4-5 months...so every day since that point has been a savings of $80-90 for us!!
I do love cloth for so many reasons, but I will still probably use disposables for the first 2 or 3 weeks with any of our future children, simply because that first poop-stage is so sticky & tar-like, I'd be worried about it not washing out well. But maybe that's just me!
Re: Intro!
