You can do tortilla roll ups. Use the hemp butter for pita grilled cheeses (if you're comfy doing dairy at all?) I give DS chick peas sliced in 1/2 all the time. I know it's not exactly Tahini which by itself is a pretty strong flavor.
Isn't tahini an allergy concern? (Sesame seeds, or are they not?)
Not that I am aware, because it's a seed. It's on the of the "nuts" that you're supposed to introduce first. I already give him ground flax seed, and he's fine with that.

Can't do any dairy - he's intolerant.
But it looks like everyone is saying bread-type things...so I guess I'll just stick with putting it on his toast.
Thanks ladies!

What about on slices of cucumber, or small pieces of carrot?
And, FWIW, DS is alergic to sessame. From some of the research I did, it's actually a fairly common alergy, and can be a precursor to peanut alergies. Just something to watch out for

Oh great.....I did not know this. I gave it to him this morning, so I'll not give him anymore for a couple of days and see if he has a reaction. Thanks for the heads up!
And I thought they couldn't have raw cucumber for quite a while?

Hey, don't know if you're still on, but just saw this. I'd continue to let LO try the tahini for 3-5 days in a row in order to know if there is going to be a reaction. Often, reactions don't happen until a baby has had the food a few times.
On wholesomebabyfood.com it says you can introduce cucumber between 8 and 10 months...it says it may make them gassier, so to watch for that. It also says they shouldn't eat the peel...but I get the big long english cucumbers, and have always let W eat them with the peel, he's never had a problem with it, so who knows...
