Home Depot worker almost got my fist in is face

DH and I were walking down and aisle. A male worker came over got in my face and asked me if it was twins. I backed away and said no. He stepped closer to me again and said oh just a big baby. I just walked away. He may as well have said hey fat ass! I don't understand why people think it is appropriate to ask if you are having twins. That is just rude. I almost started crying. I am over emotional as is right now.

  • What a jerk. I would have said something to a manager. That's just not right.

  • I know exactly what you mean. It's just not fair. How is it OK to comment on a pregnant woman's size, but it would be 'wrong' to comment about someone who is obese due to their lifestyle? This whole pregnancy I've wondered why people have no filter or class when talking to me about being pregnant. Don't let the Home Depot A-hole get to you. I'm sure you look great! Until someone has experienced pregnancy themselves, they have NO idea what its like OR what "size" a pregnant woman should be. Pregnancy comes in all shapes and sizes and obviously some people have not gotten that memo. Keep your head up, gorgeous!
  • What an ass, I probably would have thought about punching him too! People are so rude!
