can you help me figure out a temp?

My dog was throwing up all night so I had really bad sleep.  I temped once at 4am b/c I thought I wouldn't get back to sleep (97.17) and once at 7am after I had been back asleep (97.76).  The 7am temp was after lying in bed talking to my H for a bit.  I usually temp at 5.

So.  Do I put in the 4am temp?  The 7am temp?  An adjusted temp?  Using TCOYF guidelines of .1 increase for every half hour slept in, I get 97.4 whether I'm working off the 4am or the 7am temp.

I normally wouldn't care so much about one temp, but this is my first cycle on prometrium and I'm supposed to take it 2DPO.  I think today might be 2DPO but it's really hard to tell.  help!

    I would go with the TCOYF guidelines.

    I'd personally probably go with the adjusted temp (especially since adjusts out to be the same from each temp time).  Do you have a link we could look at?  It's so hard to calculate 2dpo, I know I often have a couple of slightly elevated temps and then it goes down again.  Frustrating.  Do you have any other clues that you've already O'd (OPK's, CM, etc?)?

    BFP #5 - 3/30/14, EDC 12/10/14!!
    Beta #1-76 (12dpo), Beta #2-238 (14dpo)

    thanks guys, I've been thinking about this WAY too long and sometimes you just need to hear it from someone else. :)

    I had a lot of EWCM on Friday so I think I O'd that day because some cycles I don't even get EWCM.  I have frustrating charts that slowly rise (see chem. pg chart below that one) so I'm really only ever sure several days after O.  I had some weird pre-O temps this time too so I'm really confused.

    Perhaps it's time to invest in some OPKs, but I just don't want another thing for me to obsessively pee on!

    Huh, that's a tough chart to interpret.  So far it doesn't look like you've O'd based on the temps you have, but that doesn't mean your temp won't go up in the next couple days and confirm O for Friday.  That dip and the EWCM look promising.  I understand the frustration, I have to take Prometrium after O too.

    yeah if it weren't for the EWCM I would think I hadn't yet...and maybe I haven't anyway.  I'll just have to wait.  Always waiting for something in this TTC thing!

    at least I've decided what temp to put in.  thanks for the help!
