DH loves his two girls and wouldn't trade either one of them for anything in this world, BUT--it is no secret that he also wants a son. His logic for the reason why we had two girls is that we had girl names picked out and finalized, but we've never really finalized a name for a boy. Um, okay. Nevermind the science that goes into determining the sex of a child. Anyhow, I will appease him. Help me think of a middle name for Grant so that we can finalize our boy name before we conceive another child (which we're not planning on doing for at least a year). I used to like Charles, but wouldn't want to use that now that we've used Charlotte. I like the flow and sound of Grant Douglas, but don't particularly like the name Douglas. Any other ideas?
Re: DH's logic (this is silly, but if you're bored you can help)
Grant Edward (love edward as a middle name a.k.a. Leo Edward)
Grant Michael
Grant William
I don't know, guess not that much help. I like using family names as middle names so I would look through the people who mean something to you and pick the one that sounds the best.
I like Grant Edward, also Grant Ryan, Grant Thomas, Grant Jeffrey, Grant Everett,
Grant Jacob
Grant Martin
Grant Nicholas
Grant Christopher
Grant Carson
Grant Benjamin
I like...
Grant Henry
Grant Anderson
Grant William
Grant Phillip
Grant James
Grant Nolan
Although if it's a girl again, you may be back to the ol' Tess and other girl names drawing board, lol.
No ideas for names that weren't already mentioned, but I just wanted to add that I sometimes I have your H's logic, in reverse.
I was convinced DD was gonna be a boy, we had "his" name picked out, and I was already looking at boy bedding, when we had our 20 wk u/s and found out she was a girl.
Sometimes I think it only happened because I was planning on a boy.
Silly, I know. But the thought has crossed my mind.
