F/U to crappy situation

I called as soon as I got home from church and had to leave a message. I said that Noah and I talked and we I would not be able to help her. I told her that we are uncomfortable leaving child at home by himself. I said I would feel awful if something happened knowing I left him home alone. She called me back and said she was going to sign up for the aftercare program! Thank God!!! I said I would help her tomorrow and only tomorrow. Her husband is coming home at 4:30 so I can make it to my other activities. I am glad that is over!
