Super uncomfortable when sleeping. How did you do it?

I am up all night tossing and turning! I flip flop sides and have a body pillow to put between my knees, but I still end up being so sore in my lower back and hips. I also have one of those long noodley "C" shaped maternity pillows, but usually give up on it because its hard to flip flop with such a big thing. On my back is how I am most comfortable, so i will stack a couple pillows, but I end up throwign all of those on the ground too.

Any other ideas for how to get comfy and have a good nights sleep?

  • My midwife was fine with me sleeping on my back as long as I didn't have any breathing issues or felt light headed. I put my body pillow on my right side and had my right leg/butt region on it.  It tilted me just enough that I felt safe sleeping that way, but was still really comfortable.

  • I don't know how I did it. I was always tossing and turning. My water actually broke when I was tossing and turning one night.

  • I was always tossing and turning too. Some nights I slept in a recliner and that helped some because I was kind of on my back, but up right enough that I did not have breathing issues or pain.

Keep trying positions and let us know how it goes. GL
