Yes from Pottery Barn but they aren't a perfect fit in the window frame so in the daytime there is a teeny bit of white on the sides that peek out so it's not pitch black in there, but it's dark enough to let DS know it's sleepy time...we love them!
Nope, we really wanted DD to learn to nap no matter what the situation was. Its great she will sleep no matter the amount of light and is pretty good with noise too.

Nope, we only have light filtering blinds and it's normally fairly bright in DS' room during the day. He's used to napping like this and it's never been an issue.
Nope. I figure its dark at night and I'd rather not get him used to needing the blackout shades for napping (at daycare they only turn off the lights if most of the babies are napping which hardly ever happens).
No, but we have wooden shutters that block most. Plus there is a tree outside her window that keeps it pretty shaded.

Yes, only because he always would get up early in the morning thinking it was daytime since we have a bunch of condo's behind us with lights in the lot and back of houses (which butts up to our windows) which shine constantly....it's really bright at 2am and it was hard to get him back to sleep when he thought it was bright. However, he naps at my mom's great and she only has shades in the room. When he is tired he sleeps wherever (well, for my mom, not for me!!) So yes, we love it and we got ours at Lowe's or Home Depot...fits the window perfectly..best investment thus far! And we also use a dimmer switch in his room instead of a night light! Works wonderful in the nighttime
Yes, we got those cut to width ones at Lowe's. Love them!

Not presently, it's dark most of the day right now up here and light has never seemed to bother her much. Should that change when she gets older we will definitely get black out curtains as we have them in a couple other rooms in our house and they work great!
Re: Do you have blackout shades in Lo's room?
Nope, we really wanted DD to learn to nap no matter what the situation was. Its great she will sleep no matter the amount of light and is pretty good with noise too.
Same here, but DD can pretty much nap anywhere still.
Missed m/c 10/25/10 @ 11.5 weeks
This. He'll look around them room instead of sleep. It also keeps him from waking up too early in the morning.
