Best triplet "gear" (esp. strollers)?

Hey Guys,

I'm visiting from the SAIF and preemie boards but I'm not having triplets, my dear friend is.  She is having identical girls and a boy and needless to say she and her husband are overwhelmed.  I told her I'd be glad to help do some of the research for her (I'm currently researching double strollers for myself so I'm in the mode).

So, does anyone have suggestions on strollers and other gear for triplets?  Should she get a triplet stroller or a double and single?

    Ive actually been looking up this info all morning. From what I found on the Triplet Connection it seems like a lot of moms prefer a double stroller and a single, and just carrying the one baby if all 3 are out and about.  A lot of moms said they got a lot of attention pushing a triple stroller around.. which I never thought of, and would personally be annoyed by. I am leaning towards a double stoller. I'd be interested to see what the trip moms say on here.

    if she's ever going to leave the house by herself, she WILL want a triple stroller. the triple decker is probably the easiest, it's like a triple snap n go. some moms swear by the runabout. triplet connection really is the place to ask.

    (i had, at first, a triple decker, and a single and double snap n go. worked great for us.)

    I agree with Pea-kay, she's gonna want a triple stroller so she can go out with them on her own. Unless she gets a double and wears the other baby, but I'm not sure how she would feel about that. I personally am not into wearing my babies, so I got the triple Runabout stroller. It's great because it can hold them from newborn up to 55lbs. So it will last. Try to find it used though because it is expensive. But triplet connection has specials on them sometimes. Otherwise, wish your friend all the best! :) Triplets truly are a blessing.
