My little one is 3 months and a week old, so she is drinking 7 oz now in one feeding. So I burp her half way through, but she wails because she is not full yet and wants more milk. She only burps well in the burping position on my shoulder, so if she wails for 10 minutes, then I can't hear well for a while. So I was hoping that I could possibly put a pacifer in her mouth while I wait for her first burp, to make things more manageable.
If ava is too loud I can shhh in her ear to quiet her and if that doesnt work I do stick a paci in her mouth.. she burps with it in and sometimes a few seconds before she burps she spits it out.

This. DD burps with it in sometimes but most of the time spits it out just before she is going to burp. These little piggies don't want the bottle out for 2 minutes to burp.
Re: can a baby burp w/a pacifer in their mouth?
I think she means from screaming/crying
DS burps on his own too...he has burped with the pacifier in his mouth before, but I never put one in. It might be harder to get a burp out.
