Hi ladies....

There's been a wave on TTCAL today.  4 bfps today!!  I thought I might be the first to post over here, but I_am_DCA beat me to it. Big Smile

As a way of introduction, my name is Andrea.  My DH and I have been TTC since the end of August officially.  We got pregnant on the first cycle trying, but it was over before I had a chance to really even know what being pregnant was all about -- had some bleeding at the end of September, but it was too early to be my period.  I went to the doctor, had a beta level drawn, and found out the next day I was pg.  I went to work on Monday, still super excited, and found out that evening, after my 2nd beta, that it was not a viable pregnancy.

We waited the suggested one cycle to start again.  And after four negative tests, I got a faint positive yesterday on a dollar store test.  I retested a few hours later with an FRER digital, got the YES+, and then this morning, used a CBE digital, got a Pregnant, and put together a gift for DH to tell him.  It was his early Christmas gift.

We're thrilled.  I'm understandably nervous, but a happy nervous.  I think we'll be due in mid-August.  My first beta is on Tuesday, and I'll be meeting with a midwife that day too (midwife, but it's a guy...George!).  The doctor put me on progesterone at 5dpo, and I'm taking 200 mg twice daily.  Other than being REALLY tired, I'm not feeling much yet.

On more of a "who am I" note, I'm a small animal veterinarian in PA.  We have a yellow Lab named Ridley, and four cats (Dodger, Joey, Emcee, and Reilly).
