Lucas isn't a big fan of tummy time either. It's only been more recently where he can stand it longer, probably because he's better at lifting himself up now with his arms. We had many sessions of him just screaming early on though.
He seemed to like it more when we had him laying on our chest to do tummy time. Have you tried that?

G was only in the 3rd percentile and he hated tummy time. He could lift his head just fine. He screamed something awful. We recorded him just so we can play it back to him when he's older to see what he put us through.
I am a bad mommy, I never really did tummy time with Emmalee. She loved to lay on our chests and push off from us. We considered that her tummy time, and her pedi seemed ok with that. I think it also helped that she slept on her tummy starting at 6 weeks since she could push off the mattress by then too.
My baby hates it too, but now she flips right over so I can't even keep her in it for long. DH put her on his shoulder way up high so she would push off on his back and look all around. That was a decent substitute.

Yes. This is better than being on the floor, but he still doesn't care for it very much!

LOL. I just read this to DH and he said "yeah, we should take some video of him!"

I hope it gets better for you.
It seems to be a common thing...our low head percentile gal hates it too....she's up to tolerating about 1 minute now!
I must admit I'm not that great at being super persistent with it cuz of her protests.
