At what age will baby...

reach for a toy held in front of him?? I soooo want to see him do this but he is only 10 weeks old. I'm not sure when to expect this to happen. He stares at toys and sometimes smiles at them but has yet to reach out to grab them.

    If I remember with DS1, I think it was around 4-5 months?  We moved to our current house when he was 5 months old and he was just starting to do it then.

    It seems to me that DS1 reached for my face before he was interested in toys.  I want to say that happened at maybe 3 or 3 1/2 months?  Yours could totally do it before then.  DS1 was a 5 week early preemie and was behind on some things.  I didn't think that was one of them, but I could be mistaken.
