Columbia area

Hi. I just moved officially down to Columbia two weeks ago. DH and I knew about the move ahead of time, so when I got my BFP, I started seeing an OB down here. But, now that I am finally here, I realize how tough it is to meet people in a new city, especially when you haven't found a job yet. I hang out mostly on the 2nd tri board, but I would like to meet some soon-to-be moms, or current moms in real life! I miss the interaction with real people! If there is anyone who might be interested in doing some sort of meet up for Columbia area people, respond below or PM me. Maybe as a group we can set something up

I just wanted to say I know exactly what you are going through. Sorry I can't be of too much help I'm in Charleston...well Goose Creek to be exact. My Husband got stationed here to go through "Power School" He is in the Navy. I've been here a few weeks now and have only had causal conversations at the grocery stores and shopping centers

I hope to meet people post pregnacy once I start a gym membership somewhere

Power School cool. My DH is nuclear guy too.....but at a power plant (he's petrified of water). He went to school with out of guys who are out on subs and carriers. GL in Charleston!
