NE1 have a DaVinci Emily crib from BRU??

We decided it is time to get serious about looking @ baby furniture.  The DaVinci Emily model was one of Consumer Report's recommended models.  The manufacturer gets a B- overall from Baby Bargains.  Anyone have one?  What do you think?  Also, do you have the matching dresser?  The crib seems to be getting better reviews than the dresser/changer.  TIA!

Re: NE1 have a DaVinci Emily crib from BRU??

  • We have two of them for our twins plus the changing table (not the dresser one, the regular one with shelves).  We obviously aren't using them yet, but they were pretty easy to put together and everyone that's seen them thinks they're absolutely beautiful.  They also come with the toddler rail to convert it too.

We got ours from Target only because we wanted them in Ebony (black) and BRU didn't have them in that color when we looked.  They are pretty big, but most of the convertible cribs we looked at were big anyways.  I would buy them again in a heartbeat at this point.  :)

  • Thanks for the feedback, fallbride!  Do they seem pretty sturdy?
  • Oh, yeah.  They're tanks.  lol  That was my main concern since the first crib we looked at had a lot of reviews that it didn't seem sturdy.  I researched the Emily for about a week and a half and agree with a lot of the reviews I found that it's really solid.
