Ways to tell your family

Hi everyone,

 

New to the board....just found out we are pregnant a few days ago!!  We are about 5 and a half weeks now.......so early still!  

 

Just wondering how everyone told their families.....we are trying to come up with something creative for the holidays!

    It was Mother's day 3 days after we found out, so we gave my mom a Mother's day card from the baby.  ...yeah it wasn't grandmothers day...but oh well.

    My dad found out through my brother who saw the card at my mom's house.  We were on vacation that week, and I didn't tell my brother or my dad yet.  I was pretty mad about that.

    H just flat out told his parents.

    We were very boring!  We tried for about 2 years and were pretty damn excited so we didn't keep it a secret for very long.

    Congratulations!  We weren't too creative with my parents but with my brother, whose name is "Ben", we wrapped a box of Uncle Ben's rice and gave it to him for Xmas.

    Thanks girls!!  

     

    We saw my parents last night and I had to make up a huge story about how I couldn't drink bc my lunch made me sick!!!  They are on to us, we won't be able to wait until xmas, so we are telling them next Friday!!!!
