Out of boredom I was just scrolling through older posts from earlier today and am really stunned/worried by GG's post this morning. I don't "know" her or anything, but she didn't sound like herself at all and it was actually pretty frightening to read. If I'd read it at the time, I would have said to ask her DH to come home immediately and take her to the doctor. Latest update I saw was that she's going to a MW on Monday, but I worry that she should see someone sooner based on some alarming statements in that post (about darkness closing in or something). I probably am coming off as a nosy nelly here and I really don't mean to be, but I was surprised by how many people just responded to her concerns regarding her feelings towards bf'ing, while I thought there were clearly some more alarming issues at hand.

I don't think she's here now, but if any of her more "real" friends are, do you know if she's okay and are you confident she has the help she needs? It was a worrisome post to read. I'm not trying to pry, not looking for any personal info in a response, just putting my concern out there.

    Holy Crap! Just read those posts.That is scary. I don't think she's totally alone though..isn't someone there for the baby? If not and I knew her I would insist she get help immediately.

    Just read where she said her husband is home with her. Poor thing needs some serious recovery time after all she's been through!

    I know what she's going through. I went through it with both kids. I refused to get help at first with DD and finally after 4mos I went in. I recognized it after a week with DS and got help right away. She needs to go in before monday. I hope she keeps us updated.

    I purposely didn't include a link b/c my intention wasn't to draw attention to the post. I hope someone is with her all weekend and sees that she gets some help sooner than Monday. I, too, have no idea what happened with her delivery, but I saw the "high as a kite" post earlier in the week when she apparently was on some kind of meds (she was just funny at that point). So concerning.... poor chick. :(

    I talked to her yesterday.  She'll make it to Monday.  It's very overwhelming for her (understandably) and she knows she needs some help.

    She also posted a few posts on the new PPD board (further back than the link in the previous). They do sound VERY scary and not like her at all.She had the birth and then the emergency hysterectomy probably to save her life.

    I hope she gets help, like, yesterday.
