1st Christmas Ornament

I've been on the lookout for a Baby's 1st Christmas ornament, and I'm having trouble finding anything that I like. I preferably wanted a traditional ball ornament that had the year, maybe could be personalized. At this point, it doesn't have to be a ball, but I'm having trouble finding anything I like.

I've checked Hallmark and other stores while we've been out, as well as Etsy, but I'm not seeing much that I like. Thought I'd check here and see if anyone had any leads!

    I bought Ethan's from Land Of Nod.  I liked it b/c it was a bird and fabric.  It's much larger than I expected.

    Both of my sisters got Ali Lenox Baby's First Christmas ornaments. One is a porcelain rattle with a blue bow and a pink bow, and the other one is a porcelain giraffe.  The giraffe is actually a "boy" ornament, because the accents are blue, but we have a thing for giraffes. 

    I'm guessing they got them at Macy's or the like. 

    I was disappointed in the Hallmark selection, too.

    Maybe you should wait and see if you actually have that baby before Christmas ; )

    Kelly - HAHA :( I've already been joking about that myself. I know it is completely normal to go past your due date, but I guess since there was a good chance we were going to have the section on the 2nd and the fact that we're still waiting.... it just seems CRAZY long!

     Thanks for all of the leads/ideas, can't wait to check them out!

    Target had a few different ones.  I'd like something more special too but don't know what...the rattle sounds cute!

    I know...not that I didn't have any faith, but I'd never heard of a version working before so it also seems weird to me that your baby hasn't come yet. I was definitely counting 12/2 as her birthday and can't imagine what you were feeling actually leaving the hospital still pregnant that day!

    Check craft stores,too. We haven't been real wild about any that said Babies 1st. We ended up just getting one that was a small ornament frame with the year on which we're putting his picture in when he's born.

    What about Lenox?  That's where we got our "first christmas together" ornament the year we got married, and it was personalized with our names and wedding date.

    I haven't found any I love yet either.  I for whatever reason hadn't thought to look online yet though.  I really like those shoe ones you posted from exposuresonline Christina. I'm thinking about ordering them.
