My OB estimates he has delivered 6000 babies

Give or take.  Wow.  DH asked him at one of my appointments, and he said, based on his annual averages and how many years he's been in practice, that's his estimate.  (DH said, "Woah.  That's like an entire town.)

Have you asked your OB?  I had never thought to ask, but it makes me feel pretty good knowing how experienced he is!
