Made it through surgery!

Phew. Glad that's over. Definitely unpleasant, but I'm recovering now and things weren't as serious as they feared. The hardest part was that they couldn't give me general anesthesia, and so the surgery itself was pretty painful, but I figure it's good practice, right? The doctor said we should be able to manage my colitis with meds from here on out and I don't have to have further surgery (yay!). I also don't have to have a c-section. The baby is doing great and didn't seem to notice much.

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. I am SO relieved that it's done with.
