Back from the big u/s (long)
Well, I held strong and didn't find out the sex!
I'm a little on edge though. The tech spent a LOT of time looking at the heart & facial features. She really had no social skills & was quite short, but we just didn't get a great vibe at all from her. She finished & said she was going to show the slides to the head of the dept. and she would be in to talk to us & scan the baby again.
She comes in and asks if this is our 1st u/s (its our 4th) and wanted to know if there was anything noteworthy from the previous ones. She asked a lot about the vanishing twin & where that u/s was done. Then she asked who the doctor was at my midwife's practice. There isn't one, but she does have a partnership with one. She wanted her name, which I don't know, and said she wanted to send a copy of the report to the doctor as well as my MW (they didn't do this with my first tri screen). While she was scanning she also spent a lot of time on facial features & the upper body. DH asked if there was something specific she was looking for and she just said she likes to get a nice detailed picture of the baby & that everyone has this done (didn't with Charlie though at the same place!). She was also very short & didn't elaborate on things, which seemed somewhat strange because there were 2 medical students in there too.
My midwife is out of her office right now. I'm trying not to over think anything until she has the report & I can talk to her.
If you have any spare positive vibes you could share that would be great though!

I hate when they have no bedside manor or w/e they call it. It makes things so uncomfortable. Especially for pg women- it's already a time we worry!
