...is that drivers freak out when it rains. It is sunny 99% of the time here in San Diego. Which is great for most people. I prefer the rain and cold, but I was born and raised here so I'm aware that I probably don't know what REAL rain and cold are like. Anyways, people here seem to think that when you get into your car raindrops become drops of molten lava. And going over 20mph will send you fishtailing into a deathspin. IMO if you can't handle driving in (a very light) rain, you shouldn't have a DL.
Re: One thing about living in paradise...
I have the opposite problem. Last time it rained heavily here, I almost got rear-ended by three people because they were going an average of 10 to 20 miles over the speed limit! Don't get me started about our "safe" drivers in the snow . . .
I like the rain and the cold too, and I've lived in it (half of the time), so don't feel bad
That's how people are here with rain or 1/2 inch of snow.

this happens in Florida too, where it rains ALL THE TIME in the summer.
get it together people. but, in their defense, half of them DONT have DL's.

Yep, it's crazy. I remember in Elementary School the teachers would always let us go to the windows to "oooh" and "aah" when there was a good rain. But it was pretty exciting as a kid.
LOL, this! Figure it out Florida!
I can totally relate! The other day, a male and a female were freezing outside when getting gas. They are wearing a light button up shirt with no jacket and totally complaining how cold it was. I was wearing a light sweater but plenty warm. It is December, wear a coat!
Same thing with a rain, people do freak out! I went to San Francisco to show family around. It was raining and hardly anyone in the streets. Rain is nothing in Montana!
