I would definitely do a sparkly necklace or brooch, and maybe even a bracelet. What kind and color shoes are you wearing? I think strappy heels would dress it up too
SO JEALOUS. MH's work party is tonight and also semi formal, and MH didn't want me to buy anything, so I have to wear an ugly pair of pants and a sweater that doesn't fit...not exactly semi formal.
I love the idea of a necklace, bracelet and some pretty shoes to dress it up. You could also do a dressy clutch.
Black shoes you think? IDK if i can handle strappy heels right now. The party is downtown and the parking situation sucks so we will probably have quite a walk. Maybe some low heels and i will definitely need some type of wrap.

I like the idea of a clutch, a wrap and a sparkly necklace. Have your hair pulled back, but not all the way up, and the part that is down in soft waves.
What about putting a ribbon or sash across the 'waist' of the dress. I remember seeing on some fashion show on TV that it can be helpful to break up the length for maternity wear. You can go to Joann fabrics and get a length of grosgrain ribbon for not too much.
Def the clutch, a chunky necklace (a little longer than choker length), and maybe a kitten heel?
