ok, so we put this on our netflix cuz we wanted to see what the hype was.  dh just got home from work and put it in to watch and within the first 20-30 mins there is "the scene"

now we all know what the scene involved on a basic level but seeing it is a diff story.  when heath spit on his hand and rubbed it on jake's butt hole to lube it up i lost it.  i'm 12.  Indifferent

man, i remember in my younger years when all the guys used spit as lube.  guess we were too cheap/young to buy lube. 

i'm sure it's a good movie but after that DH and i couldn't finish so now we are watching law and order.  i sort of thought that scene would be implied in the movie.

    and seriously, i was so not bothered by this movie...maybe i've spent too much time in provincetown.  it could have been a lot more "controversial"...i didn't think it went too far at all.

    Eh. Most of my guy friends are gay; I've seen enough gay porn to last me a lifetime. This movie was pretty tame by comparison.

    (Despite my recent posts, I do not have an unnatural love of porn. Just a normal affection for it.)

    Oh man!  Now I can't watch that.  I can be supportive of gay rights, but I don't want to know or SEE the details.  Yuck!!!!  That's yuck for straight people too.  Just think of all of the bacteria from you're mouth that you just put in your...well you know.  Can say we've never done that, even in our younger days.

    Yeah, I thought I could handle it . . . but seeing it was a little damaging to me.  I finished the whole movie though, but it was definitely a downer.  DH absolutely refuses.
