TTC After a Loss

::grr_argh::

Any update on your brother's gf?  Has the bleeding stopped?  Do they plan on going to get her checked out by the doctor?

Re: ::grr_argh::

  • Oh, thanks for asking.

    I spoke with my bro last night.  He said from what he'd read in What to Expect, it was a miscarriage - she was passing clots and stuff. . . but she wasn't in a lot of pain.  A 12 week loss, though, I mean, that should be pretty darned painful, yes?  I don't know.

    Anyhow, everyone's holding up well, I guess. . . but we won't have any definite news until Monday.

    I hate that book. It is seriously the devil. It will make everything sound like a m/c and scare the living sh!t out of people. They definitely need to see a doctor and not rely on a book. Sending lots of T&P their way.

    I'm stunned that a doctor visit hasn't been done or an ER visit or something at 12 weeks, that's pretty far.

    Well, I wish the best for them.

  • I would think at 12 weeks it would be extremely painful for her.  I hope they are doing ok.  Let us know what happens on Monday.

    I'm stunned as well.  Stunned enough to be doubtful.

    Thank you for saying this.  I'm a whorey _bitch, so I figured I was just being mean but I too am doubtful. that'd be an awful thing to do and to lie about.

  • If she did lie, I will strangle her.

    There's not even a hint of a joke in my voice, friends.  This is not the kind of BS you lie about.

  • OMG why would she lie about that??  Is she just that much of an AW?  A way to get closer to you?  It would take a really disturbed individual to lie about that. I hope that's not the case.  I hope she really is bleeding but the baby is okay.  If it's true then they must not be too emotionally attached to this baby.  I know if my doc said he couldn't see me I would be at the ER.  That's not something you take a "It'll work itself out" approach to.
