Just found out yesterday we're having twins! So not ready for this idea!

We've got two boys already--ages 4 and 3. And that'd be it so it was quite a shock to find out we're having two more mouths to feed. Have you found any good info on the internet? I can't seem to find too much.

 Anyone else due in July of next year?

    Congrats and welcome :)  Many people like the Dr. Luke book, me included, it is called: When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads, Revised Edition: Proven Guidelines for a Healthy Multiple Pregnancy.  Also the MoM's are a wonderful friendly resource for support and questions, post away.  Try not to be overwhelmed, all will be all right.  Take care :)

    Congrats and get Dr. Luke's book.  And I don't think any of us were ready for this.  I still can't believe it and I'm 29 weeks!

    I just found out on Tues and Im due July 23rd. Shock of my life and a wonderful blessing!

     explains why I feel like crap DAILY! With my 1st, I never knew I was pg.

    Congrats and Welcome!  It is very overwhelming to hear twins at first.  I know DH and I were in shock for a few days (this is our first pregnancy and we had just gotten married).  It's a lot to take it and so be prepared for all of the emotions you will have.  I fluctuated between being so excited and freaking out about finances.  But it is okay and there is a LOT of info info out there.  Dr. Luke's book is great and explains in great detail how a twin preg is not the same as having one baby.  Also I liked Ready or not here we come and twin set.  Be careful with the internet searches, as a lot of info out there is scary, and I found it did more harm than good.  This site is a great resource and I don't know how I would have gotten through this pregnancy without all the help and support I have found on here.  There is a lot of knowledge on here, so ask away!  GL and a H&H 9 mos!

    we're having twins, too, due July 12!  I'm reading Dr Luke's book now.  Pretty interesting!

    Congrats! I agree, Dr. Lukes book is a must; you are not alone, many MoMs have gone through the same emotions

    congrats and welcome!  It's always a shock- but i think even more when you have other children.  My DS1 was 2y2mo when the twins were born. Money is TIGHT now - but we're making it work.

    what kind of info are you looking for? Get Dr. Luke's book for sure.

    congrats!!!  It can be quite overwhelming, but is so exciting!! there are lots of ladies on here who offer great advice. Good luck with your pregnancy and congrats on the twins:)
